ARE YOU LABORING IN VAIN?

Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." - 1 Corinthians 15:58

There is a paradigm shift going in the workplace today...a least there is a remnant of Believers that are raising the barometer of Faith throughout their work.

That paradigm shift is a focus on using our business and work life as a platform for ministry versus a vehicle solely for financial gain.

It's exciting to see a remnant of workplace believers throughout the world who understand that the workplace is a platform to reflect Christ fully through their work.

It's easy to spot the commitment of this remnant because they are using their resources (and skills) to provide EXTRAORDINARY services with the primary motive being to INFLUENCE people toward Jesus Christ.  We are ambassadors!

The difference between Christians in the workplace and Christians raising the barometer of faith in the workplace is the latter understand that ministry is the primary objective of their work instead of the primary objective of work being to make money.

Our work is our platform for ministry!  Most of our waking hours are spent at work!  God placed us in a unique place in the workplace to MAKE A SPIRITUAL difference.  We do that by understanding the goal AND by making sure that we are EXTRAORDINARY in every way - and THEN we become INFLUENTIAL.

When the balance is right, the money will come!

All Christians are called to be Ambassadors for Christ and we're all given the same job description.  We've ALL received the same anointing and we're all expected to share the Gospel!

Paul tells us to fully work unto the Lord, he does not mean we must be working as missionaries in "full-time ministry."  We're ALL (supposed to be) in full-time ministry...throughout the workplace.

If our PRIMARY goal is to serve God where we are, then our labor "in the Lord is not in vain."

Are you working with the primary motive to be a reflection of Christ to the world through your work?  If not, it's time to change!

Be unshakable!  Let nothing move you from the goal.

The Lord will reflect His power and leading in and through your life when this becomes your primary motive.
